Ceramic Everyday Objects
In the cultures from which I draw inspiration, art is not separated from everyday life. The masks used ceremonially are made of the same materials and in the same manner as bowls, plates, containers, and tools used for daily living. None of these are considered to be "art;" they just are a part of daily "life."

My Everyday Objects are meant to be used. As you use them, I hope they will help you integrate art into your daily lives. I think that water poured from a beautiful stoneware pitcher somehow does taste better than water poured from a plastic container.

All tableware is lead-free and dishwasher, microwave, and cold-oven safe. The key is not to preheat your oven, and do not use them on the stovetop or put them in the refrigerator while still warm.
